32 Weeks

Week 32

Size: a squash

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +30

Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants, regular tops and maternity tops.

Stretch Marks: None... Lathering up with lotion. 

Gender: GIRL!! 

Movement: All the time.  I still feel her kicks but now it's more of big movements.  It's fun trying to guess which body part we're seeing!

Sleep: Still not great.  My hands fall asleep every night and I've been having pain in m right arm, probably because she's on a nerve.  I've moved to the couch in D's office and that has been helping a bit.  As much as it sucks, I think of it as preparing us for the sleepless nights when she is here.  

Cravings: Iced Coffee (I either get decaf or a small coffee). 

Aversions: None.  

Symptoms:  I'm nauseous again, especially in the morning.  Back pain is in full swing and if I'm on my feet the swelling takes over.  

Labor Signs: None. Keep cooking baby girl!

What I Miss: my hands not falling asleep all day long.  I can't sew, cut paper, type, cook without my hands falling asleep.  

What I'm Looking Forward To:  Organizing all the gifts and finishing her nursery.  

   

Best Moment This Week: There were a few this past week.  On Wednesday, we had a 4D ultrasound when I was at my parents house.  AG has long eyelashes and lots of hair.  I loved seeing her move, sleep, such her thumb, try to get her foot in her mouth and smile.  I will definitely cherish those pictures.  

Also, my baby shower this past Sunday. It was more than I could have ever imagined.  I was so thankful for everyone braving the nasty weather to come and celebrate AG with us.  My mom and best friends did an amazing job with all the special touches, I can't wait to share pictures. 

We also asked our best friends to be AG's godparents.  Thankfully, they both said yes =).   

Thoughts:  Overwhelmed with joy right now.  I feel ready for her to be here.  During the shower I couldn't help but think about how many people already love her and can't wait to meet her. She is such a blessed little one.
